As Gossip Cop reported, the Los Angles Clippers owner was caught on tape ranting bizarre racist things to his girlfriend V. Stiviano.
While on a diplomatic mission in Malaysia, Obama said of Sterling: “When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything. You just let them talk.”
He added that the U.S. “continues to wrestle with the legacy of race and slavery and segregation,” but Americans need to remain “steady in condemning it.”
The President joins a slew of other people who have spoken out and offered their opinions about Sterling over the past couple of days.
